Meet Your Doula + Educator

Hello friends!

My name is Lindsey, and I am the face behind Promise Birth Services. I am a BEST certified doula and childbirth educator. I am a wife to an amazing hardworking man and a mother to THREE of the sweetest boys, Braxton, Hudson, and Holden. Being a #boymom is the greatest blessing. I am a proud follower of Jesus and I am so thankful for the life and opportunities He has blessed me with.

My reason for getting into birthwork is because I fully believe God has called me here. God planted the seed of this calling in my heart first in 2015 after the birth of my first child; circumstances were not ideal and I knew I was being told to wait. At the beginning of 2021, God started to grow this desire in my heart and the stones have fallen into place perfectly. I have grown and learned so much over the past six years, and I am so excited to see what all God has for me and this business. Ever since I was a little girl I have been obsessed with babies and couldn’t wait to have my own!

I personally experienced two highly medicalized births with a lot of interventions and with the birth of my last son I chose an out of hospital birth with a midwife. It was a life changing experience! I have learned so much about how birth is meant to be a physiologically normal event. I have experienced and witnessed birth when the body is allowed to move at its own pace, and it truly made me realize how beautiful birth is and that God made our bodies perfectly to bring life into the world.

I have breastfed all of my babies, and it has been anything but a walk in the park. However, I feel my journey through these ups and downs has helped prepare and equip me to help others through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

I studied Medical Assisting in college and have experience in the medical field, this knowledge and experience helps me understand the medical care side of birth and gives me the ability to translate what healthcare providers are saying to my clients. This also helps me to help you advocate for your pregnancy and birth!

I fully believe that every woman should have access to doula support during her pregnancy and birth, therefore I offer discounts and payment plans when needed. Finances should never hold someone back from receiving the care and support they deserve!

I am truly blessed and honored to get to serve others through such exciting and tough things. I look forward to getting to know and work for y’all!
